Company’s anticipated move to Largo complete

A national company that tests indoor air quality and develops solutions for other problems such as bacteria and mold recently relocated to Largo, a Prince George’s County official announced Thursday.

Kwasi Holman, president and CEO of the Prince George’s County Economic Development Corp., said Rx Solutions and its 25 employees moved from Waldorf into Largo’s Inglewood Office Park in January. The move, Holman said, was two years in the making.

“We pursued them vigorously,” Holman said, “and they had a desire to relocate to the county.”

Rx Solutions officials were unavailable for comment Thursday, but the company’s Web site said it has performed more than 4,000 indoor air quality investigations in the past few years.

Holman said the company plans to add 34 employees, which bodes well for the county.

“We’re continuing to attract technology-based companies that provide excellent salaries,” Holman said.
