THE DAILY OUTRAGE: Homeland Security unable to secure its own firearms

Who: Department of Homeland Security

What: Lost nearly 200 guns in bowling alleys, public restrooms, unlocked cars, and other unsecure areas, with some in the hands of felons, according to Inspector General Richard Skinner.

Why it’s an outrage: At least 15 of the guns ended up in criminal hands. But more shocking is that Skinner’s report is the first accounting of guns lost by Homeland Security’s 185,000 workers.
