The National Capital Trolley Museum is celebrating the opening of its new facilities in Northwest Branch Park with a weekend full of events including a demonstration of crystal radio technology. There will also be performances by the barbershop quartet Capital a Cappella and the women’s quartet Party of Four. The events take place Friday through Sunday. The museum, which is moving from Colesville, is introducing several new permanent exhibits including Street Cars Go to the Movies, which features silent film comedies of Harold Lloyd. The National Capital Trolley Museum is open from noon to 5 p.m. every weekend and on Thursdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. from March 15 to May 15.
