Prince Harry and Meghan to reunite with royal family this month after stepping back

The British royal family plans to reassemble with Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex following the family’s fallout for the couple’s decision to step back as senior royals.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will attend an annual service at Westminster Abbey with the family for Commonwealth Day on March 9, according to Fox News.

“This is an important symbolic and unifying role,” the palace said about the event. Commonwealth Day celebrates the 54 countries that are “working in collaboration towards shared economic, environmental, social, and democratic goals.”

Prince William and Kate, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, will be in attendance along with Queen Elizabeth II and other members of the family.

Harry and Meghan announced earlier this year that they would be stepping back as senior royals. The decision was reportedly met with frustration by the rest of the royal family, including the queen.

The couple has agreed to give up their royal titles, and Harry now wants people to call him by his first name.
