Man suspected of abandoning son at park

LOS ANGELES (AP) — A man has been arrested on suspicion of child endangerment after his 6-year-old son found abandoned at Whittier Narrows Regional Park earlier this week.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department says 31-year-old Juan Garcia of Pomona was arrested Thursday.
