The man accused of murder who escaped from custody at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta has been found.
The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office in Georgia announced early Friday morning that J’Saan Carlos Strover is back in custody after he escaped the day before when two Maricopa County deputies had removed his leg restraints so he could walk down a flight of steps the previous morning.

A local news reporter from Channel 2 Action News covering Strover’s escape saw him dart into the bushes around 11:30 p.m., and he notified police.
“Tonight, College Park Police received a tip of a man fitting Strover’s description seen walking down the street, barefoot with his hands behind his back,” the sheriff’s office said on social media. “A patrol unit spotted the fugitive and he ran into the woods. Police used night vision technology to locate the 20-year-old.”
The manhunt included multiple state, local, and federal agencies.
He is wanted in Maricopa County, Arizona, on charges of first-degree murder, attempt to commit first-degree murder, and aggravated assault. Strover was arrested on April 12, and the deputies were supposed to transport him back to Arizona.

“At the time, there were two Maricopa County deputies with him,” Fulton County Sheriff Patrick Labat told reporters shortly after his escape. “At the point that they proceeded out, they removed the leg restraints to escort him down the steps, and at that point, he pushed past them.”
The sheriff’s office in Maricopa County said the agency will conduct a review of the incident, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
