Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani said Friday morning that Hillary Clinton will need to “get a speech coach” in order to keep up with Donald Trump in the general election, and said she’ll lose if she doesn’t.
“I would say, go get a speech coach,” Giuliani told WABC Radio’s Rita Cosby. “Go get a speech coach, and I don’t think she’s gonna be around very long.”
Giuliani was one of the highlighted speakers from the convention, and delivered a raucous speech before the convention on Monday night in one of the more memorable addresses all week.
The former mayor was also pleased with the crowd’s reception to Trump’s declaration that he would protect the LGBTQ community, especially in the wake of the Orlando attack on a gay nightclub.
“I was even happier to see that many of my fellow Republicans who don’t feel the same way as I do, still understand that we have to treat people that are gay and lesbian and transgender fairly,” the former mayor said.
