With President Trump visiting the United Kingdom this week, there have been multiple forms of protests. One group has taken their protesting to prominent buildings around London.
“Led by Donkeys,” a group of four men that started December 2018 out of frustration over the Brexit process, is using its platform to protest the visiting president.
“Hey @realDonaldTrump, you just endorsed your Brexit buddy @BorisJohnson but he said some VERY NASTY things about you and he doesn’t want you to know,” the group tweeted, projecting a video onto Big Ben of Johnson ripping into Trump.
“I have to say when Donald Trump says there are parts of London that are ‘No Go’ areas, I think he’s betraying a quite stupefying ignorance that makes him, frankly, unfit to hold the office of president of the United States,” Johnson can be heard in the streets.
Johnson made his criticisms of Trump in 2015 while he was mayor of London, shortly after then-candidate Trump made comments about halting immigration from Muslim-majority countries.

The group has also set projections comparing Trump’s approval among people in the U.K. to former President Barack Obama and a USS John S. McCain baseball cap.

The McCain cap is in response to the White House sending a request for the USS John S. McCain to be kept out of sight during Trump’s visit to Japan. The request was not approved, and Trump denied knowledge of the plan.
