White House press secretary Jen Psaki is in exclusive talks to join MSNBC once she leaves the Biden administration.
Psaki, who plans to leave the White House later this year, has been courted by several broadcasting networks looking to add her to their talent roster.
While President Joe Biden’s star press secretary recently laughed off suggestions that she is “looking for a job at CNN or MSNBC,” a source told Axios that a deal with a network is now close to fruition.
Psaki is now in the final stages of a deal to host a show for MSNBC on NBCUniversal’s streaming platform, Peacock, after she leaves the White House around May, a source told the outlet.
A White House official declined to confirm Psaki’s anticipated departure or future plans, telling the Washington Examiner in a statement that “Jen is here and working hard every day on behalf of the President to get you the answers to the questions that you have, and that’s where her focus is.”

She has discussed her departure with some senior officials, but she has not told the White House press team, the report said.
