Corker to campaign with Trump Tuesday

Sen. Bob Corker, R-Tenn., will join Donald Trump on the campaign trail Tuesday.

According to NBC News, Corker, the chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, will join Trump in Raleigh, N.C., where President Obama and Hillary Clinton will also be campaigning.

Corker’s campaign stop follows Trump’s meeting with Indiana Gov. Mike Pence and Iowa Sen. Joni Ernst over the weekend, fueling speculation that Trump is narrowing his vice presidential list. The Ernst meeting comes ahead of Trump’s expected meeting with the Senate Republican caucus this week.

Corker, who is in his second Senate term, also met with the presumed GOP nominee at Trump Tower in New York in May.

Despite multiple instances of praise, Corker has not yet officially endorsed Trump.
