Mayor Adrian Fenty will join Wizards head coach Flip Saunders and assistant coach Sam Cassell to unveil a new basketball court at Barry Farms in Ward 8. The event Monday evening will mark the start of the George Goodman summer basketball league.
The nearly 30-year-old league is viewed as home to some of the city’s best playground ball. NBA starts Gilbert Arenas and Kevin Durant have played there.
