President Trump kept up his attacks against Joe Biden, telling a Boston radio show on Wednesday the former vice president and 2020 Democratic candidate was “not as smart” as another White House hopeful Sen. Bernie Sanders, I-Vt.
“In many ways, I like him,” Trump told Boston Herald Radio. “He’s not as smart as Bernie. And he’s not as quick. But he’s got different views.”
“He’s a sleepy man,” Trump said of Biden when asked whether he sees any Democratic candidate as a threat to his reelection.

Trump, 73, has targeted Biden in recent days, describing himself as “a young, vibrant man” compared to the 76-year-old.
On Wednesday, the president shared dozens of tweets from purported firefighters and friends and family members of firefighters saying they support Trump over Biden in response to the International Association of Fire Fighters’ endorsement of Biden.
“They’re for me. The firefighters are going to be voting for me. So are the police. So are the military,” Trump said in the radio interview.
Trump also took aim at Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass. Warren, another 2020 candidate, called Wednesday for Attorney General William Barr to step down because he is “not a credible head of federal law enforcement” after he testified to the Senate Judiciary Committee about his handling of special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation.
“Look, she defrauded the public for a long time,” Trump said. “She should really be the one to resign. Hence, the name Pocahontas.”
“She has gone through colleges and gotten jobs and gotten in all because she supposedly had Indian blood, and then it turned out that wasn’t true,” Trump said, referring to Warren’s claims of Native American heritage. “So, she’s defrauded the public. She’s defrauded the colleges and I guess other places of work, and she should be the last one to be talking.”
