Oil prices tumbled Tuesday on further signs of an economic slowdown in China.

Heating oil fell 2.95 cents to finish at $2.7195 a gallon.
Natural gas dropped 14.6 cents to end at $2.7370 per 1,000 cubic feet.
On the ICE Futures exchange in London:
Brent crude fell $2.35 to finish the day at $97.97 per barrel.
