The Jan. 6 committee is beginning its last hearing at 1 p.m., with former President Donald Trump and its final report release as the focus of the meeting.

The committee is set to vote on whether to release its final report and make criminal referrals to the Justice Department for several Trump supporters, former staffers, and the former president himself.

All nine members are set to have a role in the committee meeting, per Chairman Bennie Thompson (D-MS).

Criminal referrals will be symbolic, as Congress does not have the authority to prosecute people, but the referrals will include a variety of categories, such as criminal, ethics, bar discipline, and campaign finance.

Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-IL), who sits on the nine-member panel, said he believes Trump is guilty of a crime. The committee will vote on three crimes relating to Trump: insurrection, obstruction of an official proceeding, and conspiracy to defraud the U.S. government.
