John McCain has managed to get in on some of Barack Obama’s week-long news cycle. On the trail Wednesday, McCain said that he had made his decision on a running mate. McCain’s short list reportedly still includes former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty and Sen. Joe Lieberman, I-Conn.
McCain’s staff told reporters the pick would be informed today and announced Friday.
