More than 1,500 personal items collected during Hollywood icon Betty White’s career and life are going up for auction come September.
Her awards, scripts, paintings, red carpet attire, and jewelry, including a gold watch from White’s mother, are all now on display at Julien’s Auctions in Beverly Hills, according to a report.
“This is an auction representing an incredible life and career. It’s a lifestyle auction,” said Martin Nolan, the executive director of Julien’s Auctions.

“All these items came from her home in Brentwood or her residence in Carmel in northern California, where she lived with her husband, Allen Ludden.”
The watch given to White by her mother is considered the most personal item, Nolan said. It is a “14-carat gold watch that was gifted to Betty Dec. 25, 1940, with the initials T.C.W. which, of course, is Tess White, Betty’s mom,” he said.
Other unique items include White’s paintings of animals and paintings made by animals, the report noted. Three pieces of art were created by Koko the Gorilla, who knew sign language.
“Pets were her thing. She said that she liked to keep her job in show business so that she could support her business with animals,” Nolan said.
The entire collection is worth up to $2 million and is set to go up on Sept. 23, according to Nolan.
“We are honored to work with her estate in this exclusive presentation of these precious artifacts and personal mementos from her storied life and career, which will be offered for the first time at auction to the public, museum curators, and her legions of fans worldwide,” the auction house stated.
