Suspect who shot LA deputy is identified

LONG BEACH, Calif. (AP) — Los Angeles County authorities have identified a 23-year-old man killed by sheriff’s deputies after he shot a deputy in the stomach during a confrontation.

Coroner’s Lt. Larry Dietz tells City News Service that Noel Aguilar died Monday following a chase in Long Beach.
