Seth MacFarlane, creator of “Family Guy” and the man behind the summer hit “Ted,” has been chosen to host the Academy Awards in February. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences made the announcement on Tuesday. The 85th annual Oscars will air on Feb. 24.
