ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — Police say a man who was shot on an Albany street last week has died from his injuries.
Officials say 25-year-old Marquis Rowlett died at an Albany hospital Saturday, two days after he was found wounded on South Pearl Street.
Officials say the shooting occurred around 9:40 a.m. Thursday outside a pharmacy.
Police later took a 28-year-old man into custody, but no charges have been filed.
No other information has been released. The shooting remains under investigation.
