PIKESVILLE, Md. (AP) — The Maryland State Police says the agency is partnering with Special Olympics Maryland to provide children and adults with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to spend time with troopers, including going out on patrol.
The Maryland State Police said Tuesday that the outreach effort is aimed at promoting a greater understanding for employees about children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
