ROANOKE, W.Va. (AP) — Stonewall Resort isn’t taking any new customers in for the holiday.
Officials said Monday afternoon the property remained without power or telephone service. There’s also no cellular telephone service within 10 miles.
On its website, Stonewall officials said they would not be able to accept guests who were scheduled to arrive Monday night or Tuesday night, and it would post updates online when it can.
The Lewis County resort’s lodge and cottages sustained only minor damage.
People who store boats at the marina on Stonewall Jackson Lake are allowed to check on the vessels, but the golf course and campground are closed.
