Trump surrogate: Clinton a hypocrite for condoning Beyonce lyrics

A surrogate for Donald Trump claimed Monday night that Hillary Clinton cannot call out the Republican nominee for using vulgar language if she enjoys listening to Beyonce music.

Beth McCaughey appeared on “CNN Tonight” with Don Lemon and discussed the lewd 2005 video in which Trump talked about groping women. “When you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything,” he said in the video. “Grab ’em by the pussy.”

But McCaughey said Clinton is a hypocrite for attacking Trump’s language while endorsing a pop star who regularly uses bad words.

“I abhor lewd and bawdy language,” McCaughey said. “I don’t listen to rap music. I don’t like that kind of thing. Hillary Clinton expresses that she finds the language on that bus horrific, but in fact she likes language like this: ‘I came to slay bitch, when he f—- me good, I take his ass to Red Lobster.'”

Those lyrics are from Beyonce’s song “Formation,” off her most recent album “Lemonade.”

“That happens to be a line from Beyonce, her favorite performer, whom she says she idolizes and would like to imitate,” McCaughey continued, referring to the time Clinton told Ellen DeGeneres she was a “Lemonade” fan. “There’s a lot of hypocrisy of Hillary Clinton expressing such horror.”
