Conservative mega-donor Charles Koch is holding a major retreat this weekend for political donors, according to the Associated Press.
The AP reported that Koch, a billionaire industrialist who supports conservative causes, is holding the retreat for hundreds of donors who pledged at least $100,000 to Koch-related groups. Elected officials are also expected to attend.
The event is hosted by the Koch brothers’ free-market promoting Freedom Partners Chamber of Commerce. The theme of the conference is, “A Brighter Future: Reversing America’s Decline, Opening Opportunity for All.”
The retreat in Colorado comes as neither Koch nor his brother David have decided whether to support GOP nominee Donald Trump. Instead the brothers’ vast political and donor network has focused on congressional races.
