President Trump knocked New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, saying he has to “do more” in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
Trump tweeted Monday afternoon that a teleconference with the nation’s governors had gone well but singled out Cuomo without elaborating on why he thinks the governor should “do more.”
“I have to do more?” Cuomo responded. “No — YOU have to do something! You’re supposed to be the President.”
Trump later deleted his tweet.

New York is among several states that have restricted public life for citizens amid the pandemic. Restaurants and bars are limited to takeout and delivery only, and all movie theaters, gyms, and casinos are closed. New York City has closed public schools through most of April.
