Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton announced Monday the release of a formal AG opinion categorizing several “so-called sex-change procedures” as “child abuse.”
“Certain procedures done on minors such as castration, fabrication of a ‘penis’ using tissue from other body parts, fabrication of a ‘vagina’ involving the removal of male sex organs, prescription of puberty-suppressors and infertility-inducers, and the like are all ‘abuse’ under section 261.001 of the Texas Family Code,” Paxton said in the press release. “The holding comes at a critical time when more and more Texans are seeing the horrors that flow from the merging of medicine and misguided ideology.”
TRANSGENDER CHILD MOLESTER TRIED AS JUVENILE LAUGHS ABOUT LIGHT PUNISHMENT
The opinion is in response to a request from Texas lawmaker Matt Krause.
“A few weeks back, the Governor asked DFPS if ‘genital mutilation’ was considered child abuse,” he wrote in a tweet in August. “The answer came back in the affirmative but some unanswered questions remained — specifically re hormone/chemical treatments. So I submitted this AG Opinion request to give clarity.”

“It took 179 days, but I finally received a response to my AG opinion request from last August. The Attorney General has concluded that gender modification procedures, including hormone treatments, are considered child abuse under Texas law,” Krause tweeted Monday.

Lia Thomas, a biological male who now identifies as a female, is dominating women across collegiate swimming with the support of the NCAA.
Recently, Thomas broke a record in the 500-yard women’s freestyle at an Ivy League championship event with a time of 4 minutes and 37.32 seconds.

Thomas is just the latest example of biological men infiltrating and dominating women’s sports. Last summer, New Zealand weightlifter Laurel Hubbard became the first transgender athlete to compete in the Olympics after passing several eligibility tests.
