A Prince George’s County police officer was injured when his patrol car slid on a patch of ice and struck a telephone pole.
Around 11 p.m. Wednesday, the officer was traveling on Steed Road near Picataway Road in the Clinton area when the car lost control. The officer was taken to a hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening, said Cpl. Clinton Copeland.
