Best Buy CEO makes $19.6M in difficult year

NEW YORK (AP) — The CEO of Best Buy, turnaround expert Hubert Joly, earned compensation worth $19.6 million in his five months on the job in 2012.

The year saw the company through three CEOs, and Chairman Harim Tyabji called it a “tumultuous” period in a Tuesday filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
