Republican congressional candidate Ralph Norman won South Carolina’s special election Tuesday night, according to the Associated Press.
He faced Democrat Archie Parnell, who previously worked at Goldman Sachs.
The seat was vacated by Mick Mulvaney, President Trump’s budget director.
Norman, a millionaire real estate developer, previously served in South Carolina’s House of Representatives.
