Officers responded to a shooting in Southeast D.C. Monday morning, police said.
Around 10:20 a.m. Monday, police responded to the shooting. They found a male victim who was conscious and breathing, officials said, and he was taken to an area hospital.
The victim had been shot in the 300 block of Livingston Terrace SE, but then ran to the 4600 block of Livingston Road SE, where the 911 call was dialed, according to a D.C. police spokeswoman.
