Trump rips Mueller’s ‘big time conflicts of interest’

President Trump on Friday ripped special counsel Robert Mueller for being too biased and conflicted to run a fair investigation against him.

Mueller is expected on Friday to file papers in court that will outline sentencing recommendations for Paul Manafort and Trump’s former lawyer, Michael Cohen. The Manafort filing may explain how he breached his plea agreement with Mueller.

In an apparent reference to that, Trump argued that those filings are unlikely to outline any of Mueller’s own problems.

“Will Robert Mueller’s big time conflicts of interest be listed at the top of his Republicans only Report,” Trump asked. “Will Andrew Weissman’s horrible and vicious prosecutorial past be listed in the Report.”

Trump said Weissmann, one of Mueller’s top lawyers on the special counsel team, “wrongly destroyed people’s lives” and was once “overturned, 9-0, in the United States Supreme Court. That’s a reference to the court’s decision to overturn Weissmann’s conviction of accounting firm Arthur Andersen.

“Will all of the substantial & many contributions made by the 17 Angry Democrats to the Campaign of Crooked Hillary be listed in top of Report,” Trump asked.

“Will the scathing document written about Lyin’ James Comey, by the man in charge of the case, Rod Rosenstein (who also signed the FISA Warrant), be a big part of the Report?” he asked in another tweet.

Trump also ripped former FBI Director James Comey, who is expected to testify in a closed House Judiciary Committee hearing on Friday to discuss the FBI’s investigation into President Trump and Hillary Clinton.
