BALTIMORE (AP) — Corrections officials are looking for an inmate who was erroneously released from the Baltimore Central Booking and Intake Center.
The Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services said Wednesday that 21-year-old John Planters was mistakenly released Monday afternoon. Planters was being held without bond on a second-degree assault charge.
Anyone with information about Planters should call 911.
The release is being investigated.
