Tybee Island to hold its first Beach Brew Fest

TYBEE ISLAND, Ga. (AP) — Before the weather gets too cool in coastal Georgia, Tybee Island is inviting guests to come out for beer and bratwurst on the beach.

The inaugural Tybee Beach Brew Fest kicks off next Friday with craft beers from brewers including New Belgium, Lazy Magnolia, R.J. Rockers, Craft Brew Alliance and Anheuser-Busch.

The first night Friday will feature tasting of sausages paired with the craft brews at Marline Monroe’s Surfside Grill. On Saturday, guests will dine and drink under the stars outside the Tybee Island lighthouse.

Tickets to the Beach Brew fest are $35 to $50 for one night or $70 for both nights. Designated drivers get in for just $20.
