Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said Monday he won’t be watching the upcoming Democratic debates in Miami.
Even though seven Senate Democrats will be on the debate stage, he’ll be watching the Washington Nationals, who play two games this week that coincide with the opening round of Democratic debates on June 26 and 27.

“It’s a tough choice,” McConnell, R-Ky., kidded as he walked out of the chamber Monday night. “The Nats are on TV. I’ll probably watch the baseball game.”
