Andrew Yang, tech entrepreneur and Democratic presidential candidate, continued his criticism of Joe Biden for missing a campaign in Iowa this past weekend.
“Out of 19 presidential candidates in Iowa this weekend I guarantee you that several were missing family obligations,” Yang said Tuesday after Biden skipped out on an event in Iowa attended by 19 of the other contenders. “That’s what happens when you run for President. If a front runner says that we have different values that’s on him.”

Yang at the event in Iowa criticized the former vice president for not showing up after Biden said he skipped the event to go to his granddaughter’s graduation.
“When I saw the program for today, I thought the same thing you all did, which is this: Joe Biden must really not like to travel,” Yang said.
Biden responded to the initial criticism by saying family was more important.
“One of my competitors criticized me for not going to Iowa to talk for five minutes,” Biden said Monday. “My granddaughter was graduating. It was my daughter’s birthday. I would skip inauguration for that.”
Both candidates are a part of a Democratic presidential field which includes over two dozen candidates. Biden is the front-runner, while Yang has polled consistently around 1%.
