‘Once’ leads the way at the Tony Award nominations

11: Number of Tony Award nominations “Once” recieved, with the nominees being annouced on Tuesday morning. The musical is a love story about a flower seller and a musician. Other top nominees were “The Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess” and “Nice Work if You Can Get It,” each with 10 nods. Some of the actors up for awards this year include Phillip Seymour Hoffman for “Death of a Salesman” and John Lithgow for “The Columnist.”
