Poll: 16 percent approve of Trump tweeting

A Fox News poll released Wednesday evening found a majority of registered voters disapprove of President Trump’s personally tweeting out messages from the White House.

Exactly 50 percent of people want Trump to put down the phone and leave his social media profile to a staffer. Only 16 percent approve of his tweeting, while 32 percent said he needs to be more cautious with his messages.

The survey was conducted March 12-14. Anderson Robbins Research and Shaw & Company Research polled 1,008 registered voters nationwide. The survey had a 3-point margin of error.
