This situation would be scary for anyone, even the ever cool Simon Cowell.
According to People magazine, Simon was said to be terrified when he came face to face with an intruder wielding a brick in his West London home during an alarming incident Saturday night.
Leanne Zaloumis, 29, thought to be an overzealous fan was captured by the “X Factor” judge’s security team and detained until police arrived.
She was charged with trespassing on the property and intending to “inflict grievous bodily harm upon a person therein.”
According to the Associated Press, prosecutors said Simon was watching TV in the bedroom of his London mansion when he heard a loud bang coming from his bathroom and discovered the intruder inside with a brick.
“She had smashed her way in through the window, and it was unclear how long she had been there or what she was doing,” Simon’s spokesman said.
The TV personality described the incident as “just like something out of a horror movie.”
The woman appeared in court with unkempt hair and a baggy sweatshirt Monday, and spoke only to confirm her name and address during a brief hearing in West London, according to the AP. A district judge ordered her detained until her next hearing on June 12.
