CHICAGO (AP) — People heading to this year’s Taste of Chicago can renew their driver’s license or register to be an organ donor while they devour giant turkey legs and other treats.
Secretary of State Jesse White announced Tuesday his office will have a booth at the event, which starts Wednesday in Grant Park.
White says his office is partnering with the city of Chicago to provide the convenience to motorists.
People may renew or change the address on their driver’s license, get a new state ID card or buy a vehicle registration sticker. They also can register to vote or apply for a specialty license plate.
Services will be provided at the Secretary of State’s mobile unit from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
