Russian soldiers reportedly killed the mother, father, wife, 6-year-old daughter, and 6-week-old son of a Ukrainian police officer as they attempted to flee the country.
Anna and Oleg Fedko Sr., along with daughter-in-law Irina and grandchildren Sophia and Ivan, were shot by Russian soldiers in the Kherson region, north of Crimea, on Feb 24. Oleg Fedko Jr., the father of Sophia and Ivan, was on duty when his family was ambushed in their car on a road near Nova Kakhovka in southern Ukraine, according to a report.
Oleg’s brother Denis Fedko was reportedly on the phone with Anna at the time.

“I was talking to my mother. I kept hearing my mother yelling that there were children [in the car] and ‘How can you [do that]?'” Denis said. “I heard little Vanya [Ivan] was crying loudly. He was only a month and a half old. And then I heard shots.”
Denis reported that there were three total bursts of gunshots.
