President Trump charged Friday that Democrats “have lost touch” with the American people by defending MS-13 gang members, rooting against negotiations with North Korea and pushing to kill the GOP tax cuts.
“Democrats are so obviously rooting against us in our negotiations with North Korea. Just like they are coming to the defense of MS 13 thugs, saying that they are individuals & must be nurtured, or asking to end your big Tax Cuts & raise your taxes instead. Dems have lost touch!” Trump posted to Twitter Friday.

Some of the policy points that Trump considers big wins of his presidency so far have been highly criticized by Democratic lawmakers.
When Trump called MS-13 gang members “animals” during an immigration round table earlier this week, Democrats, specifically Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., stood up for those members and accused Trump of calling all immigrants animals.
After the GOP tax cut bill passed, Democrats said most people would just get “crumbs,” and Pelosi said she wants to roll back the tax cuts.
