Metro leader vows to ‘fix’ overtime situation during budget meeting

The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority’s general manager promised to bring Metro’s ballooning overtime costs under control during a Wednesday budget hearing.

“We are going to fix it,” John Catoe told a District of Columbia City Council committee. “We are going to hire more people and assign these people to the proper locations and schedules.”
