South Carolina Rep. Trey Gowdy claims his Democratic colleagues will be “shocked” if they choose to read an 800-page report about the 2012 terrorist attacks in Libya released Tuesday by the House Select Committee on Benghazi.
“We mention Sec. [Hillary] Clinton’s name less times than the Democrats do despite the fact that our report is twice as long,” Gowdy, chairman of the committee, told MSNBC. In a separate report released Monday, Democratic members of the committee described Gowdy as an “overzealous prosecutor desperately trying to land a front-page conviction.”
