Trump adviser Anthony Scaramucci: Jared Kushner is ‘like Alexander Hamilton’

An informal adviser to President Trump on Monday compared Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner to Alexander Hamilton, one of the Founding Fathers of the United States.

“I think he is like Alexander Hamilton,” Anthony Scaramucci said of the 36-year-old on CNN. “He is a young man who has a tremendous amount of maturity.”

“What do you mean he’s like Alexander Hamilton? He’s nothing like Alexander Hamilton,” host Chris Cuomo pushed back.

“He’s got the trust of the president. He’s very, very thoughtful. He knows how to bring people in … that was Hamilton’s great gift at a very young age,” Scaramucci responded.

Scaramucci was discussing reports of infighting between Kushner and chief White House strategist Steve Bannon and that Trump mandated the two get along.

It’s at least the second time Scaramucci, who served on Trump’s transition team and has been discussed for a White House position, has compared Kushner with the first secretary of the treasury.

“I see Jared as like the Alexander Hamilton of the new administration,” Scaramucci said in November. “Remember how young Alexander Hamilton was when he was advising George Washington.”
