Entenmann’s closing its Long Island bakery

BAY SHORE, N.Y. (AP) — A famed baker that has operated on Long Island for more than a century is closing its Bay Shore facility this summer.

Entenmann’s parent company Bimbo Bakeries USA announced Thursday that the company is shifting production to other plants.
