Patterson retiring as BancorpSouth chairman

TUPELO, Miss. (AP) — Aubrey Patterson, BancorpSouth’s chairman since 1991 and whose career with the bank goes back four decades, will retire at the shareholders meeting on April 23.

The announcement came Wednesday.
