Alabama auto suppliers planning expansions

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) — A company official says the Johnson Controls plant in Cottondale will soon be the biggest revenue producer among the automotive parts supplier’s plants in North America.

That’s a big turnaround from a few years ago, when the plant was on the verge of being closed.
