Lucas was named president and CEO of TV One. The Silver Spring TV station, a partnership between Radio One and Comcast Corp., features original programming, movies and music aimed at adult black viewers. She will start Aug. 8 and succeeds Johnathan Rodgers, who will retire July 31. Previously, she was executive vice president and chief operating officer for Discovery Channel and the Science Channel, and was general manager of the Weather Channel.
