The Association for Corporate Growth National Capital honored a number of local executives and companies with its 2007 awards.
The firm recognized Eric Pietras of Commerce Bank as the top capital provider, Bob Kipps of the firm Houlihan Lokey Howard & Zukin as top investment banker and Chris Torti of Stanley Inc. as the winning corporate executive, the group announced Monday.
Rosetta Stone of Arlington was recognized as an emerging growth company with revenue under $100 million; Martek Biosciences Corp. of Columbia got the same award for companies with revenue over $100 million. Falls Church-based General Dynamics’ purchase of Anteon Corp. was called the “deal of the year.” Tech executive Edward H. Bersoff was given a lifetime achievement award.
