General Dynamics snags $149 million in missile orders

Falls Church-based General Dynamics will build $149 million worth of 2.75 inch Hydra-70 rockets for the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, the company announced Tuesday. The rockets were ordered through a contract General Dynamics received in 2005, which has a potential value of $900 million.

The company has earned $502 million from the contract so far.
