Iowa Republican candidate for Senate Joni Ernst has released a new TV ad with some of her friends who helped her burst onto the national stage earlier this year.
The new ad, “Lot”, shows Ernst in an Iowa farm with a collection of hogs where she says she’ll cut spending when she goes to Washington. The ad is similar to one released seven months earlier where Ernst is shown with more hogs. In the video, she says she grew up on an Iowa farm castrating hogs and knows about cutting pork.
Ernst is challenging Democratic Rep. Bruce Braley in November’s election.
